The Arising of the Serpent
Amantha Murphy is a Shamanic Healer and Priestess of the Goddess. Her passion has always been with the Land. Ireland, the land of her roots, speaks to her the loudest. It was her Grandmother who gave her the gift of the awareness of the earth as the true Mother. Amantha started her spiritual work publicly 36 years ago as a clairvoyant and moved on to trance mediumship within five years. Amantha's teachings have come from her spirit guides, ancestral teachers, her Grandmother and the land Herself. As a child her Grandmother would take Amantha out onto the land to the places that held special energy. There they would sit and commune with the fairy folk and the Shining ones - the Tuatha De Danann.
Amantha has been running Sacred Pilgrimages successfully in Ireland since 1992 and returned full time to her roots in Co. Kerry, Ireland in 1997. She encourages women to go through the Celtic and pre-Celtic Goddess archetypes.
"Ireland holds the energy of the Great Goddess in Her many faces and the feminine energy in Ireland is very powerful. As we reconnect with the Land and Her many sacred places we move instinctively into re-membering, through the archetypes, and the myths and legends of the land. This can also draw forth in women, aspects of the shadow, the dark Goddess as well as the Wild Woman, the Child, Mother and the Crone."
Amantha's focus is very much on pre-Celtic Shamanic teachings, Sacred Ceremony, the Celtic Wheel and Rites of Passage. She conducts workshops on a variety of subjects including: Pre-Celtic Shamanism, "Astro Drama", as well
as "Faces of the Goddess" and "The Arcane Teaching of the Tarot" specifically for women. Amantha is also available as a Dula (one who is with women when they are giving birth, especially home-births). Amantha is the mother of four and Grandmother of three, which she considers to be her greatest act of beauty.
A weekend of Releasing and Coming into the New
Pre-Celtic Shamanism with international Teacher
Amantha Murphy
8th & 9th Nov. 2008 Fort Lauderdale FLL
15th & 16th Nov. 2008 Madison, WIS
On our ancient calendar this is a time of death and rebirth.
A time of opening to our ancestors - allowing our patterns to merge - and growing/going on anew.
Leaving behind that which no longer serves and, drawing to ourselves, all that is needed to continue our cyclical journey of the Soul.
Over this weekend we will be facing our Truths and Realities; where we put our creative force and how we attract all that is necessary into our lives. How and whether we fully use our magnetic/energy bodies.
At this time in our Story, it is especially important to awaken to our Soul's intent and live in the presence, while drawing upon our gifts and tools to manifest the Light of Love, Grace and Passion.

The Way of the Seabhean
5 Day intensive with International teacher Amantha Murphy
19th - 23rd November 2008, Madison, WIS
Throughout time as we recall it, there have always been women who have held
sacred The Way. These were the light bringers, the keepers of the Lore and
Land, the Holders of the Sacred Spiral Wheel, the wise old woman, the Cailleach,
the Seabhean.
We are now on a path of re-membering our heritage as women, as
Seabheans,
re-claiming again the serpent of knowledge and passion.
In this workshop we will use ancient pre-Celtic Shamanic paths to awaken
again this aspect within us, journeying to the place of our ancestors
and totems, using drumming, sound and movement.
We will work with the Goddesses within the Pre-Celtic Wheel using their myths and stories to awaken within us our Stories and place within our personal wheel.
We will weave the web of our energetic bodies to
live in the authenticity of our life,
weaving the web of our physical bodies to
create a web of holding within the group.
Weaving the Sisterhood of the Seabhean.
'From my earliest memories my spirit guides have been my constant
companions. The spirit and fairy realm was more real to me than this
reality. I spent my growing up years each summer with my grandmother, a
healer and midwife, here in Kerry and it was she who introduced me to
the Sacred Way and places to commune with the Great Mother. My work, my
family, my loved ones, my passion for the Great Goddess and the Land - this is
what moves and feeds me. The Land is my Mother and she has held me for as
long as I can remember. It was, and still is, the arms I fall into when in need
or deep emotions are invoked within me.'
Amantha Murphy is a Shamanic Teacher & Healer and follows the path of the Goddess. She started her work professionally thirty-seven years ago as a clairvoyant
and moved into trance mediumship and healing within three years. Since then she
has worked with, and continues to work with, groups and individuals here in
Eire, in the UK and the USA. Her passion is the Land and returning to HER
story - working through the Grandmothers, the "Shining Ones" the Tuatha de
Danann and the Ancient Ones. She has been running Sacred Pilgrimages
successfully in Ireland since 1992.
Amantha facilitates workshops on a variety of
subjects including: "Pre-Celtic Shamanism, levels 1, 2 & 3"; "
Astro-Drama", "Rites of Passage", "The Arising of the Serpent", "Celtic Wheel", Faces of the Goddess" & "the Arcane teaching of the Tarot" for women, as well as meditation groups and women's groups. Amantha also works with the sacred ceremonies around the Celtic Wheel and is available as a Dula.
Amantha is a mother of four and Grandmother of three, which she considers to be
her greatest acts of beauty.
Amantha's teachings come from her Spirit and ancestral teachers.

Working with the Bodies
13th & 14th December 2008
Kerry
with Amantha Murphy
At this time in our evolution it is especially important to be aware of the energies we are sending out as well as the energies we are picking up on. Some of what we receive can weaken or confuse us. How and what we receive and give out vibrationally, is held in the different bodies emanating around and from us and these bodies are affected by our experiences, emotions, and our projections. How we relate to others is often dictated by the reactions and responses within our own various bodies.
This two day workshop will be focussing on those bodies and how best to use, work within and hold the presence of them. Each of these bodies is related to our charkas and our consciousness and we will learn to focus, clear and strengthen the bodies through the charkas, using sound, visualization and the reprogramming of our often instinctive patterns.
The Powerbody - using the Astral and Physical (Earth)
The Dreambody - using the Mental and Etheric (Air)

Wakening Woman's power:
Using
the archetypes of the Celtic and pre-Celtic Goddesses we journey
together in bringing forth, in a safe and nurturing environment,
those aspects of ourselves as Women as WOMAN.
We unfold
ourselves to allow the maiden, the mother, the crone and the wild
woman to emerge; bringing integration and trust of our own inner
calling. Recognising ourselves as wondrous Goddesses of delight,
passion and wholeness.
We will work with the Myths of our
land and re-call' Bridget, Eiru, Aine, Mabd, Tealta, Mocha and
Tlachtar to name but a few. Allowing ourselves to embrace the
Callaugh as that which we grow towards, just as we are now held
in the arms of Anu, our great Mother Goddess.
Our myths and
legends tell of women of Power Goddesses who enriched our lives,
held us, fed us, sang to us and fought for us. These great women
show us the many faces we carry and that which we hold in our memories;
- lives of freedom, lives of passion, lives of creativity and respect;
for ourselves, for others and for Nature Herself. As this land
changed and grew with each coming people so too the faces of Her
changed and slowly became hidden. Yet within the land, as within
us all, aspects of wholeness reside just waiting to be acknowledged
and expressed.
We owe it to ourselves as to those Great Ones
to honour all Faces of Woman and allow the Serpent of Knowledge
and Wisdom to arise again:
TO BE FREE AND ALIVE!
