We will journey for each other to our Ancestral teachers and Totems. Deepening our understanding and relationship with the unseen worlds. Working within the Celtic Wheel, with nature, with sound and with movement: gathering our fragments together.
We will drum, express and gain inspiration from this work.
We literally do ‘walk on the bones of our ancestors’ and carry with us their lessons, their pain and their joy. In our space together we work on those ancestral blocks which too often hold us from gaining our fullness of nature and in this coming weekend we will look how to integrate those qualities our ancient ones gained and grow through, allowing us the opportunity to grow on from those roots of our being. The Lower world is indeed our place of power and can support and feed us throughout life. In this way we honour those who have gone before us and incorporate their learning in to our own lives. This gives us the perception to see what is occurring without getting ‘caught up’ in the reaction.
The Shamanic tradition goes back over many thousands of years. Each clan or grouping of people held in reverence the Shamanic Way. This Way allows a person to walk between the worlds; recognizing the interconnectedness between all living forces both seen and unseen. Journeying into these worlds for healing, for answers, for visions, brings a sense of continuity, wholeness and integration for oneself and for the clan.
Amantha started her spiritual work publicly 36 years ago as a clairvoyant and moved quicklyon to trance mediumship. She developed many tools along the way, with her spirit & ancestral teachers guiding her. She works with both individuals and groups, at home and internationally. Amantha is a Mother and Grandmother and lives in Kerry, Ireland with her youngest teenager, working primarily with the Land, Rites of Passage, Ancient Goddess Pilgrimages, Shamanic Teachings and Shamanic Healing.

WOMAN'S RITES OF PASSAGE
JOIN US ON AN OUTWARD JOURNEY OF INNER EXPLORATION.
Connecting to the Ancient One, through Her many faces and places on this blessed Isle, this Pilgrimage will gently and lovingly guide us on a path where we will be opening ourselves to take the space to explore and express the rites of passage in a woman’s life.
This time and space will allow us to move again into those honoured places/spaces within us and rites will become ritual.
We will take these rituals upon the Land, at places sacred to the Great Goddess, where we will journey in song, in sacredness and in Sisterhood:- unfolding through our own acts of re-membering.
We shall have ceremonies and attunements as our primary expression in our communion with the Great Goddess. Finding our selves through Her, along the contours of Her Body and the expressions of Her nature.
We will start our Pilgrimage with a day of inner work and reflection; recognising that intention which we are bringing into the weave of our fabric.
The itinerary therefore will be open to our needs, whether working outwardly or inwardly upon our needs and expressions.
PROPOSED ITINERARY : (subject to change)
Friday 25th April: (D) Pick up from Shannon. Our opening circle at the Grange and Loch Gur, home of Aine the Sun Goddess - Maiden, en-route to Killarney. Settling into our accommodation for the next 4 nights.
Saturday 26th April: (B, L&D) Our first day of inner work to assess group needs and prepare for our rites of passage along the Pilgrimage and our communion with the land.
Sunday 27th April: (B&D) Visiting the City, beneath the Paps of Anu - our Great Mother Goddess to ask for Her blessings upon our journey. On to Ballyvourney, Gobnait's holy well, an ancient well of pilgrimage and the Sheela-na-gig. Returning towards Killarney we carry ourselves to the Grandmother’s Stone Circle.
Monday 28th Apr: (B&D) Visiting the Black Lake, one of the entrances to the underworld/otherworld. On to Eightacue to honour Sceane, Druidess and wife of Amhairghin. To Sneem and returning via Ladies View.
Tuesday 29th April: (B&D) Morning free for rest or shopping in Killarney. In the afternoon we will be travelling up to Kildare, to spend time with the Bridine Sisters. Staying on an organic farm for the next two nights.
Wednesday 30th April: (B&D) Spending the day with the Bridine Sisters who hold the bridge between Briget the great Earth Goddess and Bridget the saint. An evening walk upon the bog fields. We will have a Bealtaine fire in the evening
Thursday 1st May: (B&D) Travelling up to Sligo, visiting en-route, Rathcroghan in Roscommon, where we have the cave of the underworld and home of Maebh - our Wild Woman.
Staying in the fabulous Temple House with its 2000 acres of organic land, its lake and its Knights Templar ruins, for the next three nights.
Friday 2nd May: (B) Having time for inner work and reflection in the morning and visiting the cairns at Carrowkeel and Doonaveeragh Neolithic village in the afternoon. Evening in sligo town. Own dinner.
Saturday 3rd May: (B) The triple Circles of the Maiden, Mother and Crone. Visiting the 'Glen' for our inner sanctuary and closing ceremony. In the evening, immersing ourselves in a seaweed bath by the beach at Strandhill. Own dinner by the beach
Sunday 4th May: Dropping off at Airport.
Each day will begin with an attunement and we will be doing inner work along the way. For this reason the itinerary is open to change according to those needs. There will be times when we will be in silence and there will also be times when we will be singing, dancing and making merry as only 'sisters on the journey' can do!!
Included : All accommodation is included in the price quoted, plus the mini-bus hire, the seaweed baths, all breakfasts, 1 of the lunches and 7 of the 9 evening meals. You will be picked up from Shannon airport on the morning of the 25th April at 9a.m. and dropped off again at Shannon airport late morning of 4th May. If any woman would like to come earlier or stay on and needs info or advice please do ask.

An important part of our time together will be the inner work. The outer journeying will be the outer expression of the inner movement and shifts. Therefore I have chosen places to stay where we will feel 'held' and which are places of safety and light. They are places wherein we can share space together and work, without needing to worry about practicalities too much - esp. those that bring forth the face of 'the Mother' within us.
We will start each day with an attunement and meditation and we can take each day as we feel the inner work dictates, either by working 'at home' or by going out onto the land. Therefore the itinerary is flexible - being tailored to our needs and requirements.

Amantha Murphy is a Shamanic Healer and follows the path of the Goddess. Her passion has always been with the Land. Ireland, the land of her roots, speaks to her the loudest. It was her Grandmother who gave her the gift of the awareness of the earth as the true Mother. Amantha has been running Sacred Pilgrimages successfully in Ireland since 1992 and returned full time to her roots in Co. Kerry, Ireland in 1997. She encourages women to go through the Celtic and pre-Celtic Goddess archetypes.
